Last night’s top chef was almost as good as last week’s top chef- even though it was not as intense it was still a good, smart challenge. The chef’s had to cook “boxed lunches” for a bunch of cops- and it had to be healthy. Last night also featured an appearance from Top Chef season two HOTTIE Sam who is diabetic. Sam needs a better haircut and also needs to update his wardrobe. BUT he was still hot. Antonia was all cute and giggly when he tasted her quickfire!
Last night my horse in the race, Stephanie, did an amazing job- cooking EXACTLY what I would have cooked- SOUP! But anyway, Dale the asian won by cooking asian food. Lisa the bitchy lesbian (as opposed to the nice cute lesbians who already were kicked off) goes “Ugh all Dale cooks is asian” but then Lisa was put in the bottom three, along with Andrew and Spike.
OMG I was like freaking out at this point because I thought the odds were pretty good that of my two least favorite contestants, one would get kicked off. I mean Lisa’s “stir fry” was a goopy under AND over cooked mess, not to mention her pissy face I want to punch.
And Spike, who’d won the quickfire and gained the advantage of picking ingredients no one else could use, choose bread, tomato, chicken and lettuce. Guess what he made? a plop of chicken salad that had GRAPES AND OLIVES in it. EW. Anyway, he just cut the other shit up and put it next to the chicken salad.
Andrew made a gross looking maki roll, but at least he was really concerned with the nutritious element and he was super creative- mixing pine nuts and parsnip to look like rice. I hate parsnip but at least he thought outside the boxed lunch. Then they sent him home like a bunch of idiots.
