Hoods are prevalent in modern society, much like the pocket. Hoods however, are not external, provide shelter, and allow misanthropes to hide in their comforting shadow. Hoods are commonly seen on sweatshirts that can be called “hoodys” and jackets. Hoods can be worn and provide protection in many situations.
