It’s my birthday, so I’ll be making the voyage upstate for the weekend to be with family and likely not spend much time blogging/twittering.

- Youtube added a feature at some point that I never noticed. This feature is making us bite our nails and get really, really excited at the same time for a product we’re launching next year.

- On a related note, how many people have spent far too much time on Twitter Blocks? That’s another one of those hidden gems of the internet.

- What I’m learning: While “killing” another product isn’t the best business model, if it’s your only means of attack, shoot to kill.

- I am the only person working in the tech industry who doesn’t have a laptop. I’ll be editing spreadsheets on my iMac from the driver’s seat of my rental car tomorrow.

- With all this talk of Twitter, I’d like to point out that the asshole of the internet (4Chan) is nearly as heavily trafficked, according to the web sources at my disposal.

- I’ll be putting together a business proposal this weekend for a venture we should have launched years ago. It ate me up back then that we never put the wheels in motion, but it recently struck me that we’re in much better shape with the technology of today.
