Going back yet again to this blog post I made several weeks ago, this race will continue to oblivion until somebody finally mans up and takes one course of action:

Allowing the developers of any feed, network, or website to add their database to the script.

Friendfeed is great and the next step because it allows your content to flow to 28 different online communities simultaneously.

But the web’s pretty fucking big and 28 is nowhere near enough.

We still need an open API allowing this technology to flow over thousands and thousands of potential databases simultaneously.

I don’t know about you, but I don’t only share content on 28 major networks.
