So it finally happened. After years of being a full-time advocate of teh lunix, the powers that be have purchased me a brand new 20″ iMac for my working needs.
My associates are obsessed Macheads, and I’m convinced they’ve procured this bad boy for me just to prove a point.
I’ll undeniably reference this post later, but know for right now that I’m on a full-fledged identity crisis.
Also, I haven’t booted up a brand new computer out of the box since I bought my Dell Dimension 4800 in August of 2003. I forgot how great a new computer feels, and this new iMac is six times as fast and six times as strong as the Dell was when I first booted.
So what I do know: New computers are awesome.
Compiz > Spaces
New iMac > Old Dell Dimension.
Hopefully I don’t waste all of my future equity on gadgets.

Just don’t lug that thing to a local coffee shop to do some “Work” and I will still respect you.

haha. we have like 8thousand of these and they definately outperform the most recent imac, which i did own.
