SPOILER ALERT!!!

Last night was the long-awaited (but not be me) finale of Project Runway.  Project is one of a handful of shows I would make my boyfriend and room mate split cable for, BTW.  HOWEVER, we don’t have cable and I didn’t watch a single episode this season.  This sad fact enabled me to be completely impartial during the finale.  Every other season has resulted in me screaming at the teevee, heatedly arguing Daniel V’s case or turning off the television in disgust.  My favorite designer never wins.  Amazingly and again, the designer I was pulling for did not pull off a win. 

Jill, Christian and Rami all had amazing collections.  There were things I would wear IRL from all three of them.  Jill’s designs were modern and feminine.  Her first three looks- all amazing.  She faltered after those looks. 

 

But it was all well-made, wearable and creative.  Not of the same caliber of those first three looks, unfortunately.  Rami’s collection was ”stunning” and some of his looks caused a visceral reaction in my gut.  His dresses were worthy of the red carpet and his separates were detailed, different and beautiful.  OMG I really freaked out for it. 

 

Christian’s stuff was also gorgeous, Posh really loved it.  His clothes were all ruffles- one of his looked blinded the model with ruffles.  I am not a ruffle person.

Can you guess who  I was rooting for?  Well, Christian won.  I think the decision was heavily skewed by Posh, who was really in love with his designs.  But I wanted Rami to win!  I think Rami’s collection was the best by far.  PLUS- WTF was up with the ugly visible zippers all over Christian’s pants?  Goth hot topic pants much?  SIGH.  I guess Rami and Daniel V suffered from my support. 

Someone please get me Rami’s whole collection, KTHXBAI.
